Puppy Obedience Class Cape Cod
Early socialization and training make a more confident and resilient puppy and sets you and your puppy up for a lifetime of success. This 7-week class (45 minutes per week) is intended for puppies aged 12 weeks up to 6 months.
The first class is always “parent night”, when we ask you to attend class WITHOUT your puppy. During this first class the trainer will introduce you to the basics of puppy behavior and how to properly socialize your puppy, leaving time for you to ask questions. Our goal is to see you develop a strong bond with your puppy and learn how to deal with common misbehaviors in a positive manner.
The curriculum will include:
- Housebreaking
- Feeding
- Crate Training
- Sits/downs
- Recalls
- Heeling
Please note that all puppies are required to have had their second set of vaccines when they attend the first class.
We also take one class to introduce puppies to introductory agility equipment. This is always a fun and entertaining class for handlers and their pups.
